Mayfair Kytes is a new band hailing from Melbourne that explore elements of beat, jazz, folk, cinematic, experimental and vintage music all together in one genre-defying sound. Headed by vocalists Matt Kelly and Austin Busch they have independently funded their mammoth debut EP Animus with string scores written with Willow Stahlut (Cinematic Orchestra) and featuring Simon Mavin and Paul Bender (Hiatus Kaiyote). They officially release their first single Seasonal Thaw on October 20th 2014.
